MSN 2020
The 16th International Conference on Mobility, Sensing and Networking (MSN 2020)
Tokyo, Japan on 17 - 19 December 2020

2st International Workshop on Edge Computing and Artificial Intelligence based Sensor-Cloud System (ECAISS)

in conjunction with MSN 2020, Tokyo, Japan on 17 - 19 Dec. 2020

Call for Papers

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and Cloud Computing have received tremendous attentions from both academia and industry. Sensor-Cloud is the product of combining WSNs and Cloud Computing together, which integrates edge computing and artificial intelligence technologies recently. This workshop provides a forum for academic researchers and industry practitioners to exchange the most recent progress in methods and applications in sensor-cloud system.

The workshop solicits submissions from areas relating to Edge Computing and Artificial Intelligence algorithms/approaches to solve problems in sensor and cloud system. The interested topics include but not limited to:

  • Concepts, theory, standardization and modeling for sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing based algorithms/method design for sensor-cloud systems
  • Machine learning based algorithms/method design for sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for reliabilities of sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for data security of sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for privacy of sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for energy efficiency of sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for trust and reputation evaluation of sensor-cloud systems
  • Edge computing for data Integrity of sensor-cloud systems
  • Swarm intelligence for sensor-cloud systems
  • Artificial Intelligence in Edge/Fog/Cloud computing
  • Mobile edge computing in internet of things
  • Artificial Intelligence in internet of things
  • Edge computing in mobile sensor and Ad-hoc networks

Submitted papers must be written in the English language, according to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Format (double column, 10pt font, letter paper) and submitted in PDF file format. Use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. The manuscript (including figures, tables, appendices, references) should be no longer than 6 pages and at least 4 pages. Submitted manuscripts must not contain previously published material or be under consideration for publication in another conference or journal. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in the IEEE Xplore digital library (indexed by EI). At least one author of any accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference.
