Sheng Zhang is an associate professor and PhD advisor of Nanjing University. He received the BS and PhD degrees from Nanjing University. My research interest includes edge intelligence, resource scheduling, and distributed computing systems. To date, he has published more than 100 papers, including those appeared in JSAC, TMC, TON, TPDS, TC, MobiHoc, ICDCS, INFOCOM, SECON, IWQoS, and ICPP.
He received several awards, including CCFSys Best Paper Award (2023), IEEE ICPADS Outstanding Paper Runner-Up Award (2021), IEEE ICCCN Best Paper Award (2020), and IEEE MASS Best Paper Runner-Up Award (2012). He is the recipient of Jiangsu Computer Society (JSCS) Youth Science and Technology Award (2021), IEEE INFOCOM Distinguished TPC Member (2021), ACM Nanjing Rising Star (2020), First Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award (2019/2016), Jiangsu Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award (2016), ACM Nanjing Doctoral Dissertation Award (2015), and ACM China Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award (2015).
He serves on the ditorial boards for several journals. He is the PC member of INFOCOM (2017-2023), ICC (2018-2023), MASS (2018-2023), WASA (2021-2022), MSN (2018-2020), etc. He is the reviewer of lots of top journals including JSAC, TON, TMC, TPDS, TC, TCC, TCOM, and TOSN.
