IMAGINE (Intelligent Media pervAsive, recoGnItion & uNdErstanding) is a lab established at National Key Lab for Novel Software and Technology at Nanjing University, China. The targets of IMAGINE lab include both algorithm/theory exploration and real-life systems developing. We believe automatic understanding and visualizing the content of everyday real (big) media data stream is one of the fundamental challenges in computer science, and significant advances will be made over the next few years by combining the state of the art knowledge representations and machine learning or statistical modeling techniques on big multimeida data from Internet.
